Our company

It is a family business located in Castuera (Extremadura).

Since its origins, the Rey family has opted for the production of two products of great tradition in the area: nougat and olive oil.

The company was born in the mid-1960s, heir to the tradition of four generations of manufacturers of nougat and sweets. Currently the management is in charge of the fifth generation.

In the 80s, it was transformed incorporating the latest technological advances of the moment in the elaboration of these products. This continuous modernization process means that REY ALIMENTACIÓN is at the highest level of technology and capacity within its sector in Spain.

In the 90, it incorporates quality controls throughout the process from production to packaging and distribution. At the end of the 1990s, they began a process of diversifying their activity, building a modern olive oil production plant.

Rey Alimentación combines the secrets of family tradition with new technologies. Offering natural and artisanal products.

“REY” is in markets of more than 20 countries, in the most demanding and distant ones of South America, Asia, and North America, and of course Europe.

We export 25% of our production outside of Spain, with a clear commitment to markets that are rigorous in quality and the natural origin of food.

Our "SIERRA SERENA" olive oils are marketed mainly in traditional markets of oil consumers, in which quality is the determining factor of purchase.
